Can't thank NVA enough!! A surprise heart issue with our boxer around their closing time! NVA staff was overly accommodating, professional, friendly and compassionate...Found the issue and was able to treat her immediately...100% different dog by morning...They have a client for life! Thanks NVA!!!
My dog's teeth were horrible until I took him here. Dr. Willens and the staff were so friendly and professional. They took good care of him and stayed within my budget. Great care and recommend to any pet owner.
Dr. Hawley was absolutely rude. When asked about a diagnosis that contradicted his own colleagues, and seemed like a blatant upsell for a procedure we had *already done at this same clinic* that he didn't seem to know about (reading a chart I guess is beneath him), he told us, essentially we weren't good pet owners. If you go here - ask for someone besides him - the other doctors are really kind and their prices are affordable.
We took our eastern box turtle here. Dr. Scott Willens was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. Services were also very affordable. My wife and I left very happy and will be returning
I just had our 11 year old Sheltie dog Shonee at NVA, so that Dr.Scott Willens could remove a more than 10 ounce tumorous mass from above his left shoulder.The surgery performed by Dr. Willens and aided by his assistant went smoothly and efficiently. And while Shonee was still under anesthesia he also had his teeth cleaned ,as well as his nails trimmed. The care our dog recieved was exceptional, and at a cost that was far more reasonable than almost any other Veterinary Hospital would have charged me.And when you consider that Dr. Willens did this surgery on his day off, well thats a level of care and compassion thats goes well beyond the norm.I would strongly encourage any pet owner to give Neighborhood Veterinary Associates a chance to impress you, as they did me. You will not regret it!
